ADMINISTRATION*
1. /AP Exams/ - Do you still need to sign up for an AP Exam? You're in
luck! Registration will continue this week during lunch and after school
until 5 PM in room C106. The fee per test is $110 unless you qualify for
free and reduced lunch in which case each test is $15. Payment can be
made by check or money order written to Berkeley High School.
2. /Saturday School /is this Saturday, April 11th from 9am to 12pm.
Please sign-up in the attendance office.
*EVENTS*
1. /Asian Graduation Celebration/ - If you would like to participate in
Asian Graduation this year the first meeting will be Thursday April 10th
during lunch in room C330, Ms. Moran's room.
2. /Earth Week/ is coming up ladies and gentlemen. Keep using the
on-campus recycling and composting facilities. Bike to school to explore
how you can be shifting your lifestyle to be kinder to the planet. Also,
do you need a bike repair? The bike mobile will be coming to Berkeley
High on April 28th to give free bike repairs to students. Sign up in the
Leadership Office if interested.
3. /Out of the Blue/ - Come see and hear "Out of the Blue" an all male
acapella group visiting the US from Oxford University. They will be in
the Little Theater, Friday, April 11th at 6 PM - Donations given will
support BHS Drama.
4. /Berkeley High's Got Talent/ - Come out to the Talent Show featuring
bands, MC's, singers, dancers, the best our school has to offer. This
Friday from 7 to 9 PM in the Community Theater. Prices are $1 for
students and $5 for adults.
*LEADERSHIP*
1. /Blood Drive/ - The last blood drive this year will be in the
Community Theater on April 15. Please sign up in the leadership office.
Donors must be at least 16 years old.
*SENIORS*
1. /Prom/ - Seniors! Don't forget to buy your prom tickets! Only two
weeks until prom on the 19th. Buy them at the senior steps at lunch or
online at bhsprom2014.brownpapertickets.com

2. /Tutoring Opportunities/ - King Middle School's after school English
Language Learner Tutorial is looking for Spanish bilingual and
English-only tutors who can work from 3-4 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and
Thursdays and 2:15-3:15pm on Wednesdays. There is a great need for
seniors with free 6th periods ONLY, who are ESPECIALLY good in
pre-algebra, algebra, general math and other subjects as well. Pay is
$9.00/hour. You must arrive by 3pm at the latest! Come by the Science
Building Room 7 and speak with Akemi Hamai or Patty Rathwell or call Ms.
Rathwell @ 644-4811.
