Local Control and Accountability Plan Public Forum: April 16, 7:00 p.m.

Join Superintendent Evans and other district leaders to review the key
components of the draft of a three-year Local Control and Accountability
Plan (LCAP).

Public Forum: What's in the Draft LCAP?
Date: Wed., April 16, 7:00 p.m.
Location: Rosa Parks Elementary School, 920 Allston Way

Months of valuable input from across the Berkeley school community have
contributed to the goals, priorities, and action items in the draft of the
new Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) for Berkeley's public
schools.

The LCAP focuses on the use of supplemental state education funds, under a
new Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). The funds must be used to improve
services and outcomes for high-need students. The LCAP includes
accountability measures to track improvement based on strategies and
programs that target the needs of specific groups of students: low income,
English learners, foster youth, as well as African American and Latino
students, and students with disabilities. Read more about the
<http://www.berkeleyschools.net/local-control/lcap/> LCAP.

Ubicación: Escuela Primaria Rosa Parks, 920 Allston Way

Fondos Estatales Locales (LCFF).
Lea
más sobre el LCAP.
