ADMINISTRATION

 

1. African American Scholars Night - Please come out and support the African
American Studies Department in honoring 283 BHS African American students
who earned a first semester GPA of 3.0 or higher. This event will be at 7:00
PM on Wednesday, March 12th in the Little Theater.

2. Yearbooks - Get your yearbook before it sells out! Go to room C327 or
yearbookordercenter.com, the job number is 16356. Right now the cost is $80
and $65 if you are eligible for free and reduced lunch. You can also buy
last years' yearbooks for $100 in C327. Yearbooks are selling quickly. Don't
miss out!.

 

EVENTS

 

1. BHS Diving Team - Come support the BHS Diving Team bake sale today at
lunch in the C-Gallery!

 

2. BBQ Club - Western style BBQ on Friday at lunch time at the campus green.
Come on out and enjoy western burgers and support BBQ Club!

 

3. Leadership Month of Service - The next service event for the Month of
Service is this Friday, March 14th! There is a meeting afterschool in the
Leadership Office to participate in a letter writing campaign for increasing
the minimum wage.

 

SENIORS

 

Attention all Seniors who have applied to CSU East Bay - All applicants must
submit official transcripts ASAP or your application will be incomplete. If
you have not yet submitted your transcript, please see Ms. Mary Jacobs in
the College Career Center for instructions today!

 

LEADERSHIP

 

Leadership applications are now open for all positions. If you would like to
be President, Vice President, School Board Rep, Chief of Social Activities
or Service, The deadline is March 19th. Head to the Leadership Office for
any questions.

 

VOLUNTEER

 

Willard Mathworks - Do you like math? Then join Mathworks! Come volunteer
and help Willard Middle School students with math and receive tutoring
credits. Just go to Willard on Tuesdays from 4 to 5 pm.
