Congratulations to Berkeley High Mountain Bike Team riders on their 
strong turnout in the first race of the season at the East Garrison in 
Fort Ord on Saturday, Feb 22nd near Monterey.  Nineteen BHS riders 
roared through the course of mostly sandy singletrack, including nine 
first time riders.  All of our returning riders improved their times 
over last season.  Special congratulations to podium finishers:

Nico Theunissen - 1st place, Division 1 Sophomore Boys

Adam Goldstein - 4th place, Divison 1 Sophomore Boys

Rene Warren - 4th place, Sophomore Girls

Most importantly, everyone had a great time!  Thanks to parents, coaches 
and sponsors for all of their support!
