*ADMINISTRATION:*

1. PE Waivers - Pick up your Spring PE Waivers at Attendance Office. The 
first portion of the waiver process is due back to the attendance office 
no later than February 7, 2014. NO exceptions will be made for missed 
deadlines. If you have any questions please email pewaivers at berkeley.net

EVENTS:*

1. Screenagers - Do you like film? Are you free Saturday, February 8th? 
Come to Screenagers, the largest youth film festival in the Bay Area! 
The films will be screened at the Pacific Film Archive (2575 Bancroft 
Way). Admission is $5.50, show starts at 3.

2. Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year! Berkeley High's Mandarin program is pleased to 
be hosting a Chinese culture fair on February 7th from 8:45 to 11:30. 
There will be awesome activities, delicious food, and it's all free! 
Please come with your class and get ready for a great time.

3. Student Documentary Interviews - Come to the Senior Steps this 
Wednesday or Friday after school to be interviewed for a student 
documentary about race at Berkeley High School. The interview will be short.

*SPORTS: *

1. Athletic Packets Due 2/7 - If you are interested in trying out for a 
Spring Sport, Athletic Packets must be on file with Athletic Director by 
Friday, February 7th. Specific information regarding dates and sports 
will be announced at a later date.

2. Tryouts Schedule MEN's LAX - note early times!!!2/10 - 7-9am BHS 
Turf, 2/11 - 4-6pm Derby Field, 2/12 - 4-6pm Derby Field, 2/13 - 6-8am

CLUBS:*


1. Earphone English - Don't forget guys! Earphone English Club is today 
at lunch. Come to Mr. Miller's room C128.

2. D.A.N.C.E for You Club - Do you love to dance but just haven't found 
the time or place? Whether you're a beginner or advanced dancer, make 
sure to attend the DANCE for You Club meeting Thursday, February 6th in 
the A building dance room.

SENIORS:*

1. Berkeley Community Fund High Hopes Scholarship meeting is today at 
lunch in the College and Career Center.
