ADMINISTRATION
1. Pick up your Spring PE Waivers at Attendance Office. The first portion of
the waiver process is due back to the attendance office no later than
February 7, 2014. NO exceptions will be made for missed deadlines. If you
have any questions please email pewaivers at berkeley.net or stop by the
Attendance Office.
2. Free and Reduced Lunch: Students please remember to turn in your
free/reduced lunch applications to your 2nd period teacher. We have a great
opportunity to get a lot more money for Berkeley High, but we need
applications from as many students as possible. We are asking ALL families
to fill out a form regardless of your income.
Second period teachers - these forms are private. Please put them directly
into an envelope and take them directly to the Attendance Office yourselves.
Do not send them with a student.
3. Saturday School is scheduled for February 8th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Students interested in attending Saturday School must sign up in the
Attendance Office before school, during lunch or after school. The first 30
students to sign up will be selected to attend Saturday School.
4. CAHSEE is a requirement for graduation and all sophomores are required to
take it February 4th and 5th. The first day is English and the second is
Math. If you finish your test mid period you will need to go to the food
court until the bell rings. All sophomores should report to Berkeley High by
7:30 am on both days, some will go to the Donahue Gym others to the Jacket
Gym, stay tuned for further info. Seniors who have not passed the exam will
also take the exam. Their counselors will notify them to report to the East
