ADMINISTRATION

 

1. Fall PE Waivers - Turn in your completed PE Waiver (yellow copy) to the
Attendance Office no later than Friday January 17, 2014 at 4:00 pm. The
waiver must be signed by the same coach who wrote your letter in early fall.
No exceptions to this deadline will be granted.

 

Spring PE Waivers - The Attendance Office will begin distributing Spring PE
Waiver forms on Tuesday January 21, 2014. The first portion of the waiver
process is due back to the attendance office no later than February 7, 2014.
NO exceptions will be made for missed deadlines. If you have any questions
please email pewaivers at berkeley.net or stop by the Attendance Office.

 

2. There will be one more Saturday School on January 18th. Please go the
Attendance Office if you are interested in attending. The Parent Resource
Center will be taking orders for BART tickets this Wed. and Thurs January
15th and 16th during lunch time only.

 

EVENTS

 

RISE Crab Feed - Save the Date for the RISE Crab Feed on February 13th. You
can buy tickets in room G111.

 

CLUBS

 

The Jacket is looking for a new columnist. You can pick up an application in
c400 or on BHSJacket.com under "Join Our Staff".

 

SPORTS

 

1. Congratulations to Girls Tennis and Girls Water Polo! Both were chosen by
the North Coast Section as Scholastic Championship Teams. This award is
presented to the top three NCS varsity teams in each division in each sport
with the highest composite GPA of 3.0 or above. This is an outstanding
achievement.

 

2. Swimming and Diving Team Sign Ups - All interested swimmers and divers
need to attend an informational meeting this Wednesday, January 15th, during
lunch at the swimming pool bleachers. This is a second opportunity to sign
up for the swimming and diving team. Tryouts start Monday, February 10th and
your athletic packet must be submitted prior to tryouts.
