Dear Berkeley High Community:

Every week Berkeley High has volunteers assisting in various ways, both 
on and off campus. A sincere thanks to all of you who took time out of 
your schedules to help out. Since the start of the school year, in 
addition to the tremendous amount of support during registration week, 
we also had groups of volunteers at the All-School Assemblies, September 
and October CAHSEE exit exams, Back to School Night, two sets of 
Constructed Response packet preparations, Vision Screening, Fall 
Information Night,  World AIDS Day event and the Holiday Meal. All of 
you help make Berkeley High a stronger community.

A big thank you to the 48 Front Desk volunteers who enthusiastically 
assist us every week, the 10 Tour Guides who spend time every other week 
speaking thoughtfully to prospective families (417 visitors so far this 
year), and behind the scenes, our 2 etree moderators, who consistently 
get these email messages to you all year long!  Berkeley High is lucky 
to have such dedicated volunteers.

Lastly, a note of gratitude to Janet Huseby and Fern Royce who have been 
gracious and always available to help me when I need them.

Wishing you a peaceful winter break, a happy New Year and looking 
forward to seeing you in 2014.
