Here are the events in the CCC for the next 2 weeks:

*_Monday, December 9_*
*Lunch:* Introduction to the Elena Castaneda Scholarship
Open to Berkeley High seniors who speak Spanish as their first language and
plan to attend a four year college in the fall. US citizenship/permanent 
residency is NOT required.

*_Tuesday, December 10_*
*First period:* College Fair 2014 Planning Meeting for parents and 
community volunteers

*Lunch:*Introduction to the Berkeley Community Fund: High Hopes 
Scholarship, a 4 year scholarship and mentoring program for BHS Seniors 
who plan to attend a four year college full time.

*_Thursday, December 12_*

*Second period:*Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising visit


*_Tuesday, December 17_*

*Third period: *United States Marine Corps visit

*Lunch:*California State University: East Bay (CSU:EB) visit; 
applications still open


*_Thursday, December 19
_*

CCC closed for sophomore classes activity: Alumni Panel Speaks to 
Sophomores about College.

Open for College Essay Readers in 0 period and lunch and for Student 
Learning Center/Tutoring at 3:30-6:00
