ADMINISTRATION

 

Gym Lockers - Starting Today (11/18) locks will be cut off of all tall
lockers at the end of each day. Tall lockers are for day use only. All items
for overnight storage must be placed in a small overnight locker.

 

LEADERSHIP

 

1. BHS Art Murmur - Are you interested in Art? If you draw, sculpt or paint
feel free to get it displayed at the BHS Art Murmur. It is on November 21st,
after school, tickets are $2. Donations are welcome and all proceeds go to
the Richmond Center for the Arts afterschool program. Please call Sebastian
Moraga at 510-342-6615 or go to the Leadership Office for more information.

 

2. Red Cross Club - The Red Cross Club is hosting the second blood drive of
the year on Thursday November 21st. If you weigh over 110 pounds, are 16
years or older and feeling healthy, please consider saving a life by
donating blood. Sign-ups for the blood drive are in the Leadership Office.

 

CLUBS/ACTIVITIES

 

1. Asian Pacific Islander Club - Please come out to support Asian Pacific
Islander Club on Nov. 22nd at lunch to buy baked goods and sushi.

 

2. Jacket Jam - If you're interested in playing with your band in the
Community Theater for Berkeley High's first annual Jacket Jam, a chance for
Berkeley High's bands to showcase their talent, sign up sheets are posted
outside of the Leadership Office. Auditions are from December 4th to the
6th. Contact Desiree McCann with further questions.

 

PERFORMANCES

 

African American Dance Concert - Mark your calendars in EARLY December this
year for BHS' African American Dance Concert "CULTURE IS STRENGTH" -- on
Wed., Dec. 4th, 2013 at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Berkeley Community
Theater. BHS Teachers are FREE with BHS ID. Tickets are $12 for Reserved; $8
for General; and $5 for Children, Students with ID, Seniors & BUSD Staff.
