*ACTIVITIES*
1.Hey all creative types! The library will be hosting an after school
maker program to create up-cycled bracelets out of previously used
materials. The first meeting will be on November 12th. They will serve
snacks. Please sign up ahead of time in the library since there is only
room for 20 students.
2.Are you interested in Art? If you draw, sculpt or paint feel free to
get your work displayed at the BHS Art Murmur. This event is on November
21st after school and tickets are $2. Donations are welcome and all
proceeds go to the Richmond Center for the Arts after school program.
Please call Sebastian Moraga at 510-342-6615 or go to the Leadership
Office for more information.
*LEADERSHIP*
1. The canned food drive for Berkeley High's annual Holiday Meal will
start November 12th and continue until December 13th. Help by dropping
off cans in the C-building, the G/H breezeway and the main office. If
you would like to donate money, please visit the Leadership Office.
Fresh food can be donated on the day of the meal (December 14th).
2.Please go to the C Gallery today to sign up for the blood drive on
November 21st and buy some baked goods.
3.Can't wait to stuff your face during Thanksgiving? Why wait? Come by
the senior steps Wednesday at lunch to purchase some festive baked goods
and support sophomore class leadership! This Wednesday at the senior steps!
*SPORTS*
1.Come by and support our BHS student athletes who were awarded athletic
scholarships at Division I Universities:
Noah Bremer University of Washington Baseball
Desire Finnie University of the Pacific Basketball
Lena Mayer University of California, Santa Barbara Softball
Naomi Overstreet Virginia Commonwealth University Volleyball
They will be signing their letters of intent on the early National
Letter of Intent Signing Day: Friday, November 15th from 4 to 5 PM in
the Berkeley High School Library
