ADMINISTRATION

 

1. Up-Cycle in the Library - Hey all creative types! The library will be
hosting an afterschool maker program to create up-cycled bracelets out of
previously used materials. The first meeting will be on November 11th. They
will serve snacks. Please sign up ahead of time in the library since there
is only room for 20 students.

 

2. Canned Food Drive - The canned food drive for Berkeley High's annual
Holiday Meal will start November 12th and continue until December 13th. Help
by dropping off cans in the C-building, the G/H breezeway and the main
office. If you would like to donate money, please visit the Leadership
Office. Fresh food can be donated on the day of the meal (December 14th).

 

3. OCI - There is a reward being offered for the return of a backpack that
was lost at the girl's volleyball game last Thursday. Keep in mind that
students can turn found items in to OCI with no questions asked. 

 

4. Blood Drive - Please go to the C Gallery on Tuesday (Nov 12th) to sign up
for the blood drive on November 21st. Baked goods will also be for sale.

 

5. Swimming Pool Open Use - Beginning Tuesday, November 12, the Berkeley
High Swimming Pool will be open for use every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon
through November, December and January from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. It will be open
for open swim.

 

 

PERFORMANCES

 

1. The official Spring musical for 2014 is Spring Awakening! Audition sign
ups are available now in the A Building. Info meetings will be on November
6th and 13th in A203. Auditions will be on November 19th and 20th. Everyone
is welcome to try out. No experience necessary.

 

2. Multi Cultural Show - Interested in participating in the Multi Cultural
Show? Auditions will be held Thursday, November 7th after school in the
Afro-Haitian Dance Room. For more information contact Mr. V in the
leadership office.

 

 

SENIORS

 

College Presentation Schedule:

 

TUESDAY - 11/05

Period 1: University of Montana

Period 4: Sarah Lawrence College

Period 5: Mills College

 

 

SPORTS

 

Soccer Tryouts - Attention all boys trying out for soccer. There will be a
team meeting for players' parents on Thursday, November 7th from 7 PM to 9
PM in the BHS Library. All interested families are expected to attend.
Athletic packets must be completed before tryouts.
