ADMINISTRATION*

1.Saturday School -Our first Saturday School will be held this Saturday 
October 12th from 9-12 in H207. If you attend Saturday School you can 
clear up to 6 period absences from the previous month. If you want to go 
to Saturday School, please stop by the Attendance Office to sign up. The 
first 30 students to sign up will be able to attend.

2.Senior Portrait Makeup Days- Seniors may go to the East Gallery of the 
Community Theater to take makeup pictures after school on 9/30, 10/3, 
10/9, and 10/10.

1.Middle Eastern Bake Sale on October 3 - Come to the Middle Eastern 
Bake Sale to indulge yourself in a host of items such as chai tea, mango 
smoothies, cookies, brownies and henna tattoos! Check it out this 
Thursday at lunch on the Senior Steps.

2.Fishing Club - Here is a correction for the Fishing Club: The Fishing 
Club meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 3rd at lunch time in Mr. 
Carton's class, room C213.

3.Willard Mathworks - Do you like math? Need community service hours? 
Come join the Mathworks program and tutor students from Willard Middle 
School. First tutoring day is Tuesday, October 8th from 4 to 5 pm.

*Leadership -Volunteer Opportunities

Attention all students seeking CAS hours or volunteer opportunities. The 
leadership office invites you to look through the pink service binder in 
order to find appealing volunteer events. This week features the 
Berkeley Youth Commission, the youth speaks event "Life is Living", and 
the impact of the youth leadership summit. Please come take advantage of 
this great resource.
