[BHS Etree] VOLUNTEERS: 2nd Call to Help with CAHSEE Oct 1 & 2

Next week on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 1 and 2, Berkeley High will be 
offering the first of five sets of the California High School Exit 
Examination  (CAHSEE).  The October test is for seniors who have yet to 
pass one or more sections of the two-day exam.  All students must pass 
both the English and math section of the the Exit Exam in order to 
receive a California high school diploma.

We need parent volunteers from
8:30 am to 10am (2 parents)  (please note this new start time)
10am to 11:38am (2 parents)

Parent proctors register kids for the exam, pass out tests and pencils, 
collect booklets, sort them, etc.  There will be an administrator in 
charge.


By having enough people check students in you will be helping start this 
important exam in an orderly and calm fashion. If you can help, please
