Hi everyone, 

 

I am very thankful to Janet Huseby for sending out an email to our parent
community to find a couple of volunteers for the first two days of summer
school on Wednesday, June 19 and Thursday, June 20. 

 

Volunteering to help on the first days of summer school is critical for a
couple of reasons. For one, summer school serves Berkeley High's most
vulnerable student population--students who are at risk of not graduating
and others who are making up classes for UC/CSU eligibility.  The first day
of summer school is incredibly hectic, with students trying to figure out
their schedules, find classrooms and generally orient themselves to the
summer school program. 

 

We hope that you will consider helping us on June 19 and/or June 20.
