*New to the bulletin today
ADMINISTRATION
1. The Yearbook is on sale now for $70. On December 21st it will go up to
$85. Buy now afterschool on the Senior Steps or at yearbookordercenter.com.
The yearbook will sell out. This is the cheapest it will ever be!
2. Attention Girls!! Are you interested in technology? Would you like to
learn about technology and business while solving a problem in your
community? If so, please see Ms. James in the Attendance Office by Friday
for information on Technovation Challenge. Would you like a chance for your
team to win $10,000 for development of your teams app? Come join and have
fun doing what you like to do.
CLUBS
1. Red Cross Club is putting on a Spaghetti Feed today. Pick-up a plate of
delicious spaghetti, a slice of garlic bread and a drink .. In the C-gallery
at lunch, Monday, December 17th. Thank you for supporting the Red Cross
club!
2. The BSU will be hosting a Kwanzaa dinner on December 21st during 4th
period. If you would like to bring food, there will be sign-up sheets in
Mr. Omwamba's room, Ms. Mitchell's room and Mama Washington's dance room.
If you would like to come but can't bring food, you will have to pay $2 for
food.
3. Are you interested in writing, photography, poetry, or Art? Then join the
Teen Center's newspaper! It's a lot of fun and it looks great on
applications of all kind. For more information, visit the Teen Center
located across from the park on the corner of MLK Jr Way and Addison Street.

SPORTS
*1. To all new and returning Swim team and diving team members: There will
be a short meeting at lunchtime on Wednesday, December 19th at the Jacket
Pool. Anyone interested in swimming or diving next semester should plan to
attend.
2. Tuesday, December 18 Boys Basketball vs. Castlemont in the BHS Jacket Gym
JV: 4:30 PM
Varsity: 7:00 PM
Student Admission: $4.00; Adults Admission: $6.00
EVENTS / PERFORMANCES
1. Dance: Want to see what B-high is made of? Then come to the
African/Haitian Dance performance to celebrate the many faces of African,
Haitian, Modern ,Fusion, young gifted and black, hip hop, Aztec, Persian and
Ethiopian dance ;as well as spoken word and our BHS Jazz band. The world
will be brought to you on December 20, 2012 at 7pm in the Community Theater.
