Hi Everyone,

Your Berkeley High Band & Orchestra musicians will be playing their hearts out this evening...7:00 PM, Friday Dec. 14 in the Berkeley Community Theater.

This free concert features junior 'cellist William Cayanan in a world premiere piece called 'Recitative and Elegy' that was composed by Michael Senturia, just for Cayanan and the BHS strings.

Another special feature is a choral collaboration with the Berkeley Community Chorus! The return of BHS Choral music is heralded with two movements from the luscious Requiem by Gabriel Faure, accompanied by string ensemble.

These are the same musicians that support you at your football and basketball games, and will also play at the Holiday Meal. These guys are awesome and deserve a great audience! Over 160 musicians will be performing band and orchestra music in this free concert that is totally appropriate for your little ones, as well as your big ones.
