Tomorrow night, Wednesday, Oct. 3, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., there will
be a parent forum about sexual harassment.   This will be an opportunity to
learn about sexual harassment (including cyber-sexual harassment) from
outside legal counsel and mental health experts, school personnel with
experience addressing sexual harassment incidents, as well as the district's
own lawyer and its Director of Student Services.    The forum will also
address action steps and support for victims and witnesses, and consequences
for engaging in sexual harassment.

 

The forum will be held at Berkeley Technology Academy, 2701 Martin Luther
King Jr. Way.   It is geared towards middle and high school parents and
guardians, but those with younger students are welcome also.    Refreshments
and childcare will be provided (RSVP required for childcare).
