Tomorrow, Thursday, September 27, an all-school, all-parent meeting will be
held in the Little Theater from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Elections will be held for
the PTSA, School Site Council and BSEP.  Following elections, Pasquale
Scuderi will make a presentation and answer questions.  Please plan on
coming. Voting counts! 

 

Below are the candidates for  BSEP and SSC who will appear on the written
ballot.  Write-in candidates will be accepted as well as nominations from
the floor.  Most of the candidates statements may be fund on the BHS website
at: http://bhs.berkeleyschools.net/bsep-and-ssc-elections/ 

 

Running for BSEP (vote for six):

Williams Henriquez

Catherine Lazio

Hector Cardenos

Michael Peltz

Seth Chazin

Jeremy Thorner

John Lavino

Laura Babit

Carol Brownstein

 

School Site Council (vote for four - for voting see below)

Rita Himes (BIHS)

Michelle Russell Nakayama (CAS)

Lande Ehnle (AHA)

Margit Roos-Collins (AC)

 

For SSC The top vote getter from AC gets a seat, the top vote getter from
BIHS gets a seat, and the top vote getter from one of the small schools
[AMPS, CAS, AHA, Green] gets a seat, and the fourth seat goes to whoever got
the next highest number of votes overall.  There will also be four parent
alternates elected.
