have a college essay reader in the College/Career Center during lunch.
Beginning in October, we will have an essay reader available in the
College/Career Center before school (8:00am), during lunch, and after
school. Please consider utilizing this amazing resource!

College Advisor's Class Presentations for Seniors: Throughout the weeks of
September 10 and September 17, Ms. Price and Mr. Barton conducted class
presentations to cover important aspects of the college application process.
Students received a folder, complete with important information regarding
the fall semester and the college application process. In addition,
students received a College Application Workbook.

Advising Appointments for Seniors:
Sign-up sheets became available in D-221 on the morning of September 17th.
Each Monday morning, Ms. Price and Mr. Barton will open up an additional
week of appointments for seniors to sign-up. The schedules fill up fast, so
we recommend coming before first period if you'd like to secure an
appointment time. .
Seniors may also drop in any day at lunch or after school without an
appointment to have shorter questions answered. College Advisor assignments:
Ms. Price - BIHS and AC students with last names L-Z. Mr. Barton - AHA,
AMPS, CAS, GRN and AC students with last names A-K.

COLLEGE VISITS:
Many college representatives visit Berkeley High's College and Career Center
every year. Seniors may attend up to 10 of these meetings, with the
permission of the teacher whose class you are missing. Sign up in advance
in the College and Career and pick up a permission slip. The schedule of
presentations will be updated throughout the fall, so please check our
