Youth Spirit Artworks, the dynamic, fun and social justice-focused art  jobs
training program empowering low-income and other under-served 

youth, ages 16 to 25, is accepting applications for our stipended Fall 2012
training program. Our fall program groups meet MWF 3:30pm to 6:30pm 

and Tu, Th, F 3:30 to 6:30pm. The Fall training program is 16 weeks.

 

Participants start as Aspirants, climbing a progression ladder of increasing
program leadership seniority. Aspirants are paid $300 per 

training session. All participants additionally receive 50 percent of the
proceeds of all art they make that is sold.

 

Applications can be downloaded from our web site at:
www.youthspiritartworks.org <http://www.youthspiritartworks.org/>  or picked
up at our art studio at: 1769 Alcatraz Avenue, Berkeley, CA  94703 (near the
corner of Alcatraz and Adeline). Completed applications can be turned at our
art studio, mailed, or emailed--whichever is most convenient!
