Come meet the four candidates running for the two open seats on the Berkeley
School Board, and hear about their vision for the Berkeley schools.  The
focus of the event will be on the education of English Language Learners in
the District, but there will be an opportunity for members of the community
to ask the candidates about any topic.

Venga a conocer a las cuatro candidatas para los dos puestos vacantes en el
Consejo Escolar (Mesa Directiva) del BUSD,  y entérese sobre su visión para
las escuelas de Berkeley. 
El tema central del evento será la educación de los estudiantes del distrito
que están aprendiendo inglés, conocidos como “English Learners”, pero habrá
oportunidad para que los miembros de la comunidad hagan preguntas  a las
candidatas acerca de cualquier tema.




Se proveerá traducción del inglés al español y vice versa
Tendremos  también cuidado de niños y refrigerios ligeros
