[BHS Etree] ADMIN: Sad News

[BHS etree]

Principal Scuderi writes: 

 

Ms. Christine Eastman, a longtime BUSD and BHS employee, passed away last
week.

 

Ms. Eastman worked at Willard and King in addition to Berkeley High School
where she worked both in the attendance office and, most notably, as a part
of the team in the On Campus Intervention Office (OCI). 

 

She was a remarkably positive and energetic person, endowed with a great
laugh and a great smile, and she often used both to take the edge off of a
challenging and sometimes very intense workplace.

 

She will be deeply missed.

 

A memorial for Ms. Eastman will be held at Harris Funeral Home, 1331 San
Pablo Avenue in Berkeley on Tuesday, August 21st, at 7 p.m.
