PLEASE do not reply to this email, contact Janet Huseby jhuseby at pacbell.net

This morning at 11:30 am the summer mailing was delivered to the post
office: 1, 111 pounds worth of mail -- over half a ton -- packed into 56
sacks; 3,275 pieces containing 20 separate items each; over 65,000 items
stuffed, counted and labeled by 90 volunteers. What a community! What a
feat! Thank you one and all.

Please allow for two weeks for delivery as the mailing went out standard
(formerly known as bulk). When your package comes, check for the following
items:

If your package has not arrived by August 16, the office has extra copies
which they will hand out after the 16th.

Please note that the Attendance letter is personalized for students who
attended a BUSD school last year. The Attendance Office wants to make sure
that the information it has for notifying parents and guardians of tardies
and absences is up to date. If you enrolled in the spring, your letter is a
generic letter with attendance procedures.

Registration week is August 20-24. 9th graders come on Monday, 10th graders
come on Tuesday, 11th graders on Wednesday, 12th graders on Thursday.
Friday is a make up day. We need adult volunteers who can commit to helping
either morning (8:15 to noon) or afternoon (12:30 to 3:30). The more help
we have, the shorter the lines will be! If you can help, please let Janet
know at jhuseby at pacbell.net specifying what day and morning or afternoon.
Thank you.

School begins at 8:30 am on Wednesday, August 29 and will follow the regular
schedule however there will be no zero period.
