On Thursday,  May 31, at 7:15 pm, we will have our Final Jazz Parents meeting of the year. The meeting will be held in A201, the Band Room. We encourage ALL Jazz Parents (current and new) to attend.  New Board members  for the 2012-13 school year will be nominated and elected  by the parent group. If you think you might be interested in joining the Board, feel free to email us with any questions, or to let us know at  berkeleyjazz at comcast.net.  

 

The Coordinator(s) and  the Alternate Coordinator positions are usually held by Ensemble parents. The positions of Secretary and Member at Large can be held by any Jazz parent. These positions are all open for next year. Lucinda Sikes is doing a great job as treasurer and has graciously offered to remain in that position next year. We will both be available next year to provide consultation and advice for those new to the positions. There are innumerable other large and small  ways to be involved as well... concert coordinator, carpools organizers, tshirts, website, programs, publicity, jazz library organizer, Jazz on 4th, raffle,Yoshi's ticket sales, Solano stroll, Spice of Life and more.

On Friday June 8, Spring Concert for BHS Jazz Ensemble, Lab II and Lab I Bands in the Florence Schwimley Little Theatre at 7 pm.                    

 

Refreshments available before and  during intermission. Come support the fantastic BHS Jazz program and enjoy an evening of great music.
