[BHS Etree] SPORTS: BHS Sports School Board Request - 4/25 (Wed.)

To Parents of Berkeley High Student Athletes and the BHS Community:

We are asking parents and supporters of BHS sports to come to the School
Board meeting Wednesday night to request that laundry facillities be
restored to construction plans for the replacement gym building.  Since
teams' uniform laundry service was eliminated by Prop 13 decades ago, our
coaches have washed uniforms in the Old Gym. This may sound trivial, but
some large programs cannot function without this service.  Come out and
support our students. 

 

Please help our kids by coming to the BUSD Board Meeting at the Council
Chamber at Old City Hall on Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., at 7:30 p.m.,
Wednesday, April 25. Please come a little early and fill out a green public
comment speaker's card and give it to the Board
