Tuesday April 24th is the last BHS Parent Support Program until May 14th, so
come for a unique blend of practical and personal information and support
for communicating with your teens . and their friends . and their parents
about alcohol and other drug choices? Whether your child is using or you are
just concerned about the possibility or the impact of others' use for your
child, it's easier to figure out your next steps when you have some time to
think and talk about it. We offer plenty of other resources too.

 

Annie Tyson and Karen Hughes are the program facilitators.  Annie has been
leading Hand in Hand parent education and support programs for over 15
years.  Karen is an alcohol prevention specialist at the UC Berkeley Health
Service.  As former and current Berkeley High parents, they are dedicated to
empowering parents to meet the challenges we face in our community.

 

Tuesday April 24th from 6:45-8:30pm in Room D-224 2nd fl. BHS Main Adm Bldg.
Donation $10-20 suggested.
