ADMINISTRATION

1. Does it pay to go to class? Yes it does! The class with the best
attendance for 2nd semester will win an exclusive event experience to a
local movie theatre. We will rent out the theater for the winning class to
have fun together watching a popular film. It's true - there really is a
competition for the class with the best attendance, and the winner will
really get a whole theater rented out to them to watch a movie together!
Here is the latest in the attendance race!: Seniors are pulling up the rear
at 91.01%. If you've got senioritis you'd better check yourself before you
wreck yourself! Juniors are in third at 92.84%. Still within range of a
win. And neck-and-neck vying for the win are sophomores and freshmen with
only .07% separating them - sophomores are at 93.67% and freshmen have the
lead by a hair at 93.73%. Really at this point any class still has a chance
to win! So encourage your friends to GET TO CLASS.

2. Attention Berkeley High! IT's time to make a difference in the world!
Bring a dollar to class this Friday and donate to the One Dollar For Life
organization. Help build a birthing center in Nepal where many women die
every year from bleeding to death during child birth. Remember, student
leaders are coming to your class this Friday to collect money so please
bring a dollar to donate on Friday!

3. If you are planning to take an AP exam in May but haven't yet signed up,
this is the LAST WEEK to do so. Sign-ups continue at lunch to 12:10 and
after school to 4 p.m. this week at the Donahue Gym ticket windows. Do not
wait until the last day! The lines will be very long, and it may very well
rain.
