[BHS Etree] INCOMING FAMILIES: Longfellow requests in the mail; 1st new to BUSD signups Monday; Willard parent meeting

1. Last week Longfellow students input their course and small learning community preferences.  We are mailing home a copy of their requests.  Parents/guardians will have until Tuesday, March 13 to return any corrections to the Longfellow counseling office. 

As we mail home each batch of student requests (King, Longfellow, Willard, New-to-BUSD) we will post on the etree so families can watch their mailboxes.  Though the requests are staggered all students will enter the lottery at the same time.


2. Next Monday, March 5, New to BUSD students and their parents (last name A-L) should report at 6:00 p.m. to the BHS library (entrance on the corner of Allston Way and Milvia) to input their course and learning community requests following a short meeting with administrators.  


3. On Tuesday, March 6,  BHS administrators will hold a meeting at Willard School from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. to explain the process and answer any questions.  Willard students will input their course and learning community requests on the days following the meeting.
