[BHS Etree] INCOMING FAMILIES: King and Willard parent meetings, registration receipts for new to BUSD

1. BHS  Administrators will hold meeting for King parents on Tuesday, Feb. 28 and for Willard parents on Tuesday, March 6 at the respective schools from 6:00 to 7:00. The Longfellow meeting was held last week.  There will be Spanish translation available. The administrators will answer parent questions about course and learning community requests which counselors will be collecting from BUSD middle school students starting this week.  King, Longfellow and Willard students will submit their requests at their school.  BHS will mail home a confirmation copy. 
 
2.  Monday, February 27, was the last day for non-BUSD students to enroll in the Berkeley Unified School District in order to enter the first learning community lottery for Berkeley High School.   After February 27, the next opportunity to  enroll new high school students for the 2012-2013 school year not currently enrolled in BUSD is March 19th.

3. For non-BUSD students who registered last week, the yellow copy of the pre enrollment printout is the only Admission receipt.
