The BHS Student Leadership Team is excited to announce the 2012 Winter
Ball, themed "The Mardi Gras Ball" will take place on February 25, 2012
from 7-11pm at the Jack London Aquatic Center in Oakland!


Find event and ticket information below.  We are also seeking parent
chaperones.


This special event requires semi-formal dress (no jeans or sneakers,
dresses cannot reveal too much on top and must reach mid-thigh or lower).
It is open to ALL students of BHS who meet attendance requirements.  If a
BHS student would like to bring a guest who does not attend BHS, a guest
pass must be retrieved from the Leadership Office and completed before a
ticket can be purchased for the guest.


- Tickets are on sale for $20 ONLY today and Friday, 1/20.  Sorry no
discounts on these days.
- The following two weeks tickets will be $25.*
- The second and third weeks of February tickets will be $30.*
- The final week before the Ball tickets will be $35.*
* A $5 discount is offered to students who provide evidence of free lunch
(a note from their counselor) when purchasing.


- Tickets can be purchased with money order or CASH ONLY, no checks.
- A student ID must be presented when tickets are purchased.
- Tickets are sold from the "Senior Steps" during lunch or after school
until 4pm.  During finals (Wednesday-Friday of next week) the tickets will
be sold from the Leadership Office to parents at any time (must have your
student's ID0, but only to students


The purchase of a ticket gains a student or guest admittance to the event
at this appealing and safe venue, free food and drinks, coat check, DJ and
other entertainment, parting gifts, and the priceless experience of
attending a high school dance where memories are made!  Students can pay
additional money for professional photographs.  Picture information will be
included in the invitation students receive the week or two before the
event.

If you would like to be a chaperone, please email Chris Young.  Chaperones
must be 25 or older and be able to work the entirety of one or both
shifts.  Please indicate which shift you can work or if you can do both.
1st shift - 6:45-9:15pm
2nd shift - 8:45pm-11:15pm
