Dear Academic Choice families,

The Academic Choice Fall Meeting will be held this Wednesday November 16
from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the College Career Center, which is located across
from the library on the second floor of the Berkeley High A building.

 

On the agenda:

1. Academic Choice State of the State

   Academic Choice Lead Teachers Matt Carton and Ben Sanoff discuss:

     * AC Houses - a commitment to rigorous teaching
     * Clarification of class choices students may make
     * Advisers and Counselors - what's the difference?

     * Resources for struggling students

2. Questions and Answers about Academic Choice

3. The Academic Choice Advisory Council (ACAC) - Helping to Make Academic
Choice Successful
    Members of the ACAC describe what they do and how you can help.

4. Breakouts
    Freshman parents at each table ask questions to Sophomore, Junior and
Senior parents.

5. ACAC Finances and Fundraising
  The exciting programs ACAC funds and how your contributions make this
possible.
