*New to the bulletin today

ADMINISTRATION

1. There is no school on Thursday and Friday, November 10 and 11 (Staff
Development day and Veteran's Day Holiday). There is no school on Wednesday,
Thursday and Friday, November 23, 24, and 25 (Thanksgiving break).

 

*2. If you have an elevator key and you no longer need it, please return it
to Ms. Taylor at the front desk.

 

3. This weeks "Weekly Challenge" is to avoid using profanity (Even when
you're mad, upset, or irritated).  Keep a clean mouth and don't cuss.  Try
your best to reinforce this goal throughout this week.

 

4. Hey guys and gals!  The competition for the service cup is over but we
still need donations for the Holiday Meal!  Please bring canned food and old
coats to the huge bins located around campus.  We also need toys, books, and
shoes.

 

 

LEADERSHIP

 

1. Do you have school spirit? Do you have "Swag"? The Berkeley High Girls
and Boys Basketball programs will be selling "Swag" Student Spirit t-shirts
every Wednesday after school, 3:30-4:30 pm, in front of the Donahue gym. All
BHS students who purchase the student designed "Swag" t-shirt will be
eligible to become a member of the "2012 Swag 6th Man Club" and receive up
to 50% off the student admission price to home basketball games. T-shirts
are $10. STUDENTS MUST PRESENT A CURRENT, VALID BHS STUDENT ID TO PURCHASE A
T-SHIRT AND GAME TICKETS. 

Support your BHS Basketball programs and join the Swag 6th Man Club now!

CLUBS

 

*1. Vagina!  It's that time of year again.  Ladies of Berkeley High: do you
care about women's rights?  Ever wanted to be in a play?  Then audition for
the Vagina Monologues for a chance to be a part of the global movement to
end violence against women. Auditions are November 14th, 15th, and 16th
afterschool.  Sign up in the A- building.

 

*2. Come to the Thai Iced tea sale this Wednesday at lunch in the C-Gallery.
Only $2!

 

*3. The Philosophy Club will feature a Guest Speaker today, November 9th
during lunch in room C125.  Don't miss it!

 

*4. Actors, Singers, dancers: Please come to the Hairspray info meeting
today at lunch in A208 (Mr. Winer's room).  Audition workshops will be on
the week of the 14th.  Come learn about the Spring Musical.  We need all
students!
