The BHS Attendance Office has changed our hours slightly.  The new hours
are... 

 

FOR ADULTS, we are open from 8:00 am to 2pm, and from 3:30 - 4:30.  (Closed
from 2 - 3:30)  

FOR STUDENTS, we are open before school, during lunch, and after school.
Students may not use the office during class time.

 

We apologize to those parents of students enrolled in zero period who have
had absences.  Our automatic dialer is mistakenly identifying zero period as
"ninth" period, which does not exist.  If you get a call alerting you to a
missed "ninth" period, please know that it really means "zero" period.  

 

The district's attendance software, PowerSchool, has been experiencing
frequent outages due to a problem at the vendor's level.  In some cases this
has affected our ability to clear absences.  In general, it can take us up
to ten days to clear an absence.  Please bear with us if an excused absence
takes longer than usual to show up as cleared.

El horario de la Oficina de Asistencia ha cambiado.  Nuestras nuevas horas
son ...

PARA ADULTOS, estamos disponibles de de 8:00 am a 2pm, y de 3:30 - 4:30.
(Cerramos de 2 a 3:30)  

PARA ESTUDIANTES, estamos disponibles antes de escuela, durante almuerzo, y
despues de escuela.  Los estudiantes no pueden usar nuestra oficina cuando
tienen clases.

 

Nuestras disculpas si es que su hijo/a tiene un periodo "cero" y se ha
ausentado.  Nuestras llamadas automaticas confundieron el periodo "cero" con
el periodo "nueve," la cual no existe.  Si es que usted recibe una llamada
avisandole de una falta en periodo "nueve," sepa que en realidad se refiere
a periodo cero.

 

El distrito esta teniendo problemas con el sistema de PowerSchool que usamos
para ausencias.  Generalmente nos toma hasta diez dias verificar las
ausencias, pero con los problemas de PowerSchool nos esta tomando un poco
mas en algunos casos.  Rogamos nos tengan paciencia en esos casos.
