African American Parents:

 

Tonight (September 14, 2011) was the PTSA Elections and SSC/BSEP Candidate
Forum. PTSA Officers were elected tonight. Candidate statements for SSC
(School Site Council) and BSEP (Berkeley Schools Excellence Project) will be
posted online (on the Berkeley High PTSA Website) for other parents to see
and read. Please read them and be ready to vote.

 

The SSC and BSEP Elections will take place on Back to School Night,
Thursday, September 22nd from 7:00 - 9:00 pm in the Community Theatre at
Berkeley High in order to increase voter participation. 

 

Remember - candidates for these committees will not make speeches because
they should already have submitted a candidate statement form to Natasha
Beery of the PTSA on Septemer 14th.  Ms. Beery can also be contacted at
info.bhsptsa at gmail.com. 

 

I'm asking as many parents as possible to please come out on Back To School
Night, September 22, to visit your child's classrooms and don't forget to
VOTE for SSC and BSEP school REPS!!!
