STUDENT DAILY BULLETIN

ADMINISTRATION

 

1. Students you are required to carry your student IDs at all times.  You
must have an ID to check out books.

 

2. Yearbook needs seniors, photographers, and designers.  Come earn credit,
and have fun in C327, during 7th period.

 

*3. Come support the 4th Annual Black Family Reunion on Saturday, September
17, 2011.  Rosa Parks Elementary school from 11am -3pm.  All BUSD families
are welcome.

 

 

CLUBS

 

1. Join the Homeless Support Club!  Be part of the effort to help the less
fortunate in the Berkeley Community and even get your community service
hours done volunteering with the rest of the team!  Meetings are Thursdays
at lunch in C317.  The first meeting will be on September 15th so mark your
calendars!

 

2. The Model United Nations club needs a teacher advisor.  We meet Thursdays
at lunch and if possible we need chaperones throughout the year.  The email

3. There will be a club fair on the campus green on September 15th.  All
clubs will be represented.

 

4. Do you want to get involved with your local community and
internationally? Come to the first Interact meeting on Thursday September
15th from 4-5pm at the YMCA Teen Center to learn more! Be part of an
international organization that's a great opportunity to help others, meet
new people and develop leadership skills!

 

*5. Applications now available in the Health Center for the Peer Health
Education Program..  Learn and teach your fellow classmates about healthy
relationships and sexual health topics.  Make a difference on your campus;
be a part of the change.  Pick-up your application at the Health Center Now!

*7. Today there is a BHS Language and Culture Exchange planning meeting in
C316.  Grab your lunch and come quickly, so we can start right away.

 

*8. Calling all knitters!!  The knitting club meets on Fridays at lunch in
the library.  No experience necessary to join. Come to learn or finish a
project you have already started.  Yarn and needles provided. We would love
to see you there!

 

 

JUNIORS/SENIORS

 

1. SAT practice test on September 24th.   $20 to sign up in College Center
before and after school.

 

2. Senior profiles are overdue.  Deliver to the College Career Center ASAP!

 

 

SPORTS

 

1. BHS Football - Saturday, September 17 is a  Home game:  BHS vs Marin
Catholic. Freshmen  at 10:30 am;  JV  at  1:00 pm;  Varsity at  3:00pm
