*         Higher Learning Program (fee-based/financial assistance
available)

Services include: ACT/SAT Reasoning Test Preparation classes, weekly math
and science study group sessions, daily drop-in group academic assistance,

*         Y-Scholars (FREE)

Services include: weekly workshops covering topics ranging from study
skills to college exploration, mentoring, college tours, social events,

*         Youth & Government (fee-based/financial assistance available)

Y & G is a model legislature and court program offered to high school
students grades 9-12. Teens will learn how to write legislation on issues
they care about, make friendships that will last a life-time, and much

*         Photography Workshop (fee-based/financial assistance available)

Taught by a professional/working photographer, teens have the opportunity
to learn how to take photographs, produce images, create their own

*         Journalism Workshop (fee-based/financial assistance available)

Taught by a professional journalist, teens will have the opportunity to
learn what it takes to cover a story and get it published, develop writing
& communications skills, explore different types of journalism that will

*         Poetry Writing Workshop (fee-based/financial assistance
available)

Taught by a professional poet, teens will have the opportunity to learn
poetry writing skills, work in a supportive and cooperative space, explore

*         Parent Workshop - (FREE)

During our parent workshop - "Positive Engagement and Youth Resilience:
Tools for Parenting your Teen" - learn about teen identity, understanding
self-esteem in a teen context, importance of resilience in teens, and much

*         Interact Club (FREE)

Teens will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills and personal
integrity, learn the value of individual responsibility and hard work,

*         Smart Money Workshops (FREE)

Teens have the opportunity to develop skills that will allow them to make
informed decisions regarding their personal finances and may also be

*         Career Panel Series (FREE)

The Career Panel Series is an ongoing panel composed of professionals from
different career paths that will provide teens with information on how to

*         C.A.R.T. Internship (FREE)

In the C.A.R.T. (Career Advancement Resources & Training) Internship
Programs, teens will learn job training skills, how to write a perfect
resume, and so much more! Participants may be eligible for a stipend
