Incoming freshmen (and women!), when you come to campus Monday August

22 for freshman orientation, stop by the BHS Mountain Bike Racing Club

table on the green to meet student riders, see some cool racing bikes,

check out pictures of racing action, and learn more about the club.

You can even join the club on the spot!

 

If you aren't familiar with high school mountain bike racing, it got

its start right here at Berkeley High, where the first team was formed

over a decade ago.  It's now growing like crazy, involving thousands

of riders as it spreads from California to Colorado, Washington,

Texas, and Minnesota.  All BHS students are welcome to join -- no

tryouts! -- and you don't even need to have your own bike.

 

New or returning students of any grade level, freshmen who won't be at

orientation, or parents/guardians of interested students can e-mail
