1. The summer mailing went out by bulk mail (now known as standard mail).
That means the post office has until Friday, August 19 to deliver your
packet.  We hope you have already received your BHS summer mailing (in a
large white envelope) BUT if your package has not yet arrived, please wait
until Friday before coming to the Berkeley High School office to pick up a
duplicate set. 

 

2. There are three mistakes in the mailing: an emergency form was NOT
included; a free and reduced lunch application was NOT included; and the
times for 10th through 11th grade students were not put on the label.
Directions for updating emergency information online will be sent out
later. Free and reduced lunch applications will be available during
registration August 22- 26.

 

3. Freshmen (9th graders) report in three batches on Monday, August 22:
Last Name A to G (8:30 a.m.); Last name GL to OL (10:30 a.m.); Last name
ON to Z 1 p.m.    Freshmen will report to the Little Theater.  Student
guides will help direct the new students.    

 

4. 10th through 12th grade report through out the day in staggered
sequence.  They should report directly to the Jacket Gym at the times
indicated below: Sophomores (10th) on Tuesday, August 23; Juniors (11th),
August 24; Seniors (12th) August 25.  Friday, August 26 is a makeup day
for all classes. 

 




5. Times for 10th -12th grade students (NOT 9th, please see #3). 

8:30-850 A-Ba

8:50- 9:10 Be-Bo

9:10-9:30 Br-Ch

9:30-9:50 Cl-Dh

9:50- 10:10 Di-Fu

10:10-10:30 Ga-Gu

10:30-10:50 Ha-Ho

10:50- 11:10  Hu-Ju

11:10-11:30 Ka-Le

11:30-12:30 Lunch - registration is closed

12:30-12:50 Li -Ma

12:50-1:30 Me-Ny

1:30-1:50 O-Pa

1:50- 2:10 Ph-Ro

2:10 -2:30 Ru-Sl

2:30-2:50 Sm-Wa

2:50-3:10 Wa-Z

 

5. We still need lots of volunteer help with registration.  If you can
take a morning (8 to noon)  or afternoon (12:30 to 3:30) on any day from
August 22-25, please  let me know at jhuseby at pacbell.net
