Thomasine Wilson, whose teaching career at Berkeley High spanned four
decades, passed away in Berkeley on July 5. In addition to teaching a
multitude of students and serving as a mentor to her colleagues, Thomasine
headed the faculty senate for many years and chaired the History
department before her retirement. A memorial is planned for Friday, July
29 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Ohlone Park on Hearst Avenue near MLK Way.
