Attention All Past Cragmont & King Parents & Students!
On Wednesday, June 8th, from 5-7 pm at King Middle School, there will be a farewell celebration for former Cragmont Principal and current King Principal, Jason Lustig. We would like to invite all of Mr. Lustig’s former and current students and parents to come celebrate, and thank him for, all his wonderful contributions to public education in Berkeley.
For those who haven’t heard, Principal Lustig was accepted into an innovative new program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (http://www.gse.harvard.edu/academics/doctorate/edld/index.html) and, at least temporarily, will be leaving the district to start his studies this fall. With any luck, we’ll have him back in three years, new and improved!
So come one, come all! The party will be on the King playground. There will be ample parking to the left side as you enter the playground, though please feel free to walk or roll to King for the event. There will be light refreshments, live music and an open mike to wish Jason Lustig a great educational adventure with his family. This is an open event and everyone in the community is invited.
We Look Forward To Seeing You There!
Mark van Krieken
