Read-and-Write-a-thon: Saturday, May 21, 2011

WriterCoach Connection presents its third annual Read-and-Write-a-thon
this Saturday, May 21, 2011.  Ten hours of non-stop reading, spelling bee,
literary jeopardy game, raffle prizes and tasty treats.  8:00am-6:00pm,
Willard Middle School Library, 2425 Stuart Street, Berkeley.  

 

Admission is free, but sponsorship of the Read-and-Write-a-thon is
encouraged.  Proceeds benefit WriterCoach Connection, which brings over
400 trained volunteer coaches into Berkeley High and eight other East Bay
schools to help students with their writing and critical thinking.  Please
give whatever you can to help make a difference at Berkeley High!
