STUDENT DAILY BULLETIN

*New or Updated Information

Tuesday, April 26, 2011

SAT word of the day: Acute (adjective): Having fine and penetrating
discernment.

ADMINISTRATION

1. All students who have signed up for an AP test to be given in May MUST
attend a pre-administration session in the Community Theatre either Tuesday,
April 26 (Tuesday) or April 27 (Wednesday) at 3:40 p.m. Bring a number 2
pencil (not a mechanical pencil) and a clipboard or book to write on. You
will receive your AP booklet with your personal AP number and the answer
sheet for your first AP exam. You will follow instructions for filling out
the general information that all AP test takers must fill out once per test
year. The session may take up to one hour, but it will save an hour on the
day of your AP test and the morning exams will really start at 8 a.m.; the
afternoon exams will begin at noon. Afternoon tests should not be delayed by
morning tests that exceed their allotted time. Attendance at one of these
meetings is MANDATORY.

2. Yearbooks are for sale after school in H102B for $80. They are no longer
for sale online. Please make checks payable to BHS Yearbook. Books are
going fast. Students with free-reduced lunch will still receive a discount.

*3. Attention all students signed up for physics next year (that's the
college prep physics, not AP or IB physics). Next year's physics students
need to come to a brief but essential meeting at the start of lunch in room
G214 any day this week to get some very important information about the
course and your options.

*4. Do you want to be a delegate at the Election Convention on Friday, May
6? You should want to - it's fun! If you do want to be a delegate talk to
your history teacher. We need you to help elect the best leaders for the
next school year!
