STAR TESTING
Beginning Tuesday April 26th Berkeley High School will be administering
the STAR test to all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students. Testing will end
on Friday, April 29th.
Below is a summary of testing days for STAR:
On Tuesday April 26th, all 9th, 10th and 11th grade students should report
at 8:30 to their second period class for English Language Arts testing.
Seniors will stay at home in the morning and attend periods 4, 5, and 6
beginning at 12:56 pm.
On Wednesday April 27th, all 9th, 10th and 11th grade students should
report at 8:30 to their second period class for Math testing. Seniors will
stay at home in the morning and attend periods 4, 5, and 6 beginning at
12:56 pm.
On Thursday April 28th all 10th grade students should report to their 2nd
period class to take the 10th grade Life Science test beginning at 8:30am.
All students taking a science course will take their content specific
science tests beginning at 10:35 am. Seniors will have the mornings off
and will report to periods 2, 3, and 1 beginning at 1:37 pm.
On Friday, April 29th 10th and 11th grade students will report to their
2nd period class at 8:30 for History testing. Freshmen and seniors will
report to school for periods 2,3 and 1 at 12:01 pm.
In an effort to increase participation rates this year Berkeley High
School will institute make-up testing. Students who are not present when
the CST is administered will be pulled from their classes to take make-up
tests. Please encourage your student to come to the main administration of
the test so that they do not miss valuable class time to complete their
STAR testing.
