Berkeley High's Girls Basketball Team (31-2) continued their winning ways
by beating Carondelet 68-57 for their record 10th NorCal championship. In
the state championship game, the Lady Jackets fell to the #1 ranked team
in the nation, Mater Dei, 59-47. 

 

The Lady Jackets were led by junior guard Elisha Davis (16 points, four
three-pointers) and Chairese Culberson (nine points, 15 rebounds).
Congratulations to the team and coach Cheryl Draper for another successful
year. I was proud to be able to participate.
