Junior Prom is coming soon!  "Big City, Bright Lights" will take place at
the Turf Club at Golden Gate Fields on Saturday, April 16 from 8-Midnight.
The theme conjures the 

glamour of the city and will have Art Deco/Old Hollywood touches.  A
professional event planner is helping us to make this a truly elegant and
classy affair.  

 

Tickets are currently $60.  A $5 discount is offered to students who are
registered as receiving free lunch.  Tickets will remain at $60 until

this Friday.  Tickets will be $65 next week and $70 the week preceding the
Junior Prom.  Tickets are sold during lunch and after school

on the "Senior Steps" (brick steps that serve as main entrance to the
Community Theater). CASH or money order ONLY.  No checks.

 

Students must have their BHS ID to purchase a ticket.  A new or replacement
ID can be obtained in the counseling office for $10.  Non-BHS guests of a

student are permitted with clearance.  Guest passes are available at the
ticket window and in the Leadership Office.  Guest passes are due fully

complete by the end of lunch on Thursday, April 14.  They should be shown to
purchase a guest ticket and then submitted to Mr. Young in the Leadership
Office.

 

The dress code is formal.  Any gang, violence, sexual, or drug references on
clothing or accessories will result in denial of entry.  Dresses must be

mid-thigh or lower and not be too revealing (administrator's discretion at
the door)!  Your nicest threads, suits or tuxedos for boys - no jeans or
sagging of the pants!  

 

The dance conduct policy will be strictly enforced.  Students will be
removed from the dance floor the first time the policy is violated, parents
will be called,

no refund given, and student will not be able to further participate after a
second violation.  Please speak with your student about self-respect,
respect of others 

and keeping it comfortable and fun for everyone!  

 

Picture information will be included when the student receives their
official ticket on Thursday or Friday before the Prom.
