Berkeley High Girls Basketball Wins 10th NorCal Champion and Play for State
Title Saturday!

 

The Berkeley High School Girls Basketball Team (31-1) continued their
winning ways by beating Carondelet for their record 10th NorCal

championship. The Lady Jackets were led by  Brittany Boyd (17 pts, 3 steals,
8 rebounds) and Chairese Culberson (15 points and 12 rebounds).
Congratulations to the team and coach Cheryl Draper. The State Championship
Game against  Mater Dei tips off at 6pm, Saturday, March 26 at the Power
Balance Pavilion (former Arco Arena). This is the 4th time since 2006 that
Berkeley played for the state title. Berkeley won the title in both 1991 and
1997 and have been state runners-up seven times. Come on out and support the
Lady Jackets!

 

Tickets will be sold every day this week at lunch and from 3:30 to 4:00 at
the Athletic Office. $10 for students and $16 for adults.  You can also
purchase tickets and get information about the bus going to the game at the
Athletic Office
