[BHS Etree] VOLUNTEERS - SECOND CALL for Exit Exam Help, Mar. 8 & 9

This upcoming fourth exit exam of the year has a smaller number of students
than some but in many ways it is the most important exam.  Some students
will be taking the test for the first time, others will be on their sixth
round.  Among the students sitting for the exam will be seniors who have yet
to pass a section, as well as juniors in the same boat and sophomores who
missed the all 10th grade exam in February.  Even if your child has already
passed the exam, please consider taking a shift. We want the test to go
smoothly for our children who need it to go smoothly. Below is the detailed
information. 

 

Tuesday, March 8 and Wednesday, March 9 Berkeley High will be offering its
fourth set of California High School Exit Exams (CAHSEE) for 11th and 12
grade students who must pass one or more sections and 10th graders who
missed the all sophomore test in February.  This exam comes at the same time
the BHS counselors will be traveling to the middle schools to help incoming
9th graders sign up for classes.  We need a minimum of six parents to check
in  (from 8 am to 9 am) and then another six to help monitor from 9 to 11:30
and noon to 2:30 on both days  If you can help, please contact Janet Huseby
at jhuseby at pacbell.net  and let her know which shift you can take.
