Please join the BUSD Parent Resource Office in celebrating Black History
Month with the first African American Family Day Conference.  The day will
begin with a Continental Breakfast at 9:00 am, followed by 3 sessions of
workshops, lunch and end with a performance by the Berkeley High School Afro
Haitian Dancers.

 

The Workshop Sessions will be as follows:

 

"Faith and the Black Family"

"College 101"

"Managing Parental Stress"

"Black Love Unchained"

"Community Resources Available to You"

"The 3 E's of Parent Support In the Educational System"

And MUCH, MUCH MORE!!

 

When:  Saturday February 26, 2011

 

Where:  Berkeley High School Library

             1980 Allston Way, 2nd floor

             Berkeley

 

Time:    9:00am - 2:00pm
