Dear Parents, students, and teachers,

For those of you who planned to attend the math strategies workshop we had
scheduled on Saturday Feb. 19th, we would like to offer our sincere
apologies. As you know, the workshop did not take place as announced. We
are incredibly sorry about the miscommunication concerning the workshop.
We were notified on very short notice that the rooms we had reserved for
the workshop were being used for a campus wide speech competition, and
were unable to work around this conflict on time and notify you of the
issue. We understand that it was our responsibility to have made it clear
that the workshop was canceled, and we are very sorry for having wasted
your valuable time.

We are currently aiming to reschedule the workshop sometime during the
next few weeks, and hope you will still be interested in joining us once
we have rescheduled the workshop. We will email you the moment we finalize
the date and room as well as posting an updated schedule on ptps.org
<http://ptps.org/> . We look forward to seeing you at future workshops and
will not let this type of miscommunication happen again.
